So I had one at 38 weeks with my last and she came about a day later.

I have my 37 week appointment tomorrow and was told I would be fine for a sweep if I'm not GBS positive.

Is it more likely to work with the second if it worked for the first, or is it dependent on the individual pregnancy?

Also, I'm currently about 75% effaced, and 2 cm dilated. Does this help my odds or is it irrelevant?

It doesn't work unless the baby is ready anyhow right?

I've been having a few painful contractions with my normal BH, and with my SPD flaring up(of course my kids bedroom is upstairs!) I am really ready to be not pregnant, but want him to be ready too. So I just figure if all he needed was a nudge in the right direction....

TIA :)
