My baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow. I also have a toddler who will be two in February. My sleeping schedule is so thrown off. I usually take a three hour nap or so in the afternoon. Between that and being so busy with two young children, I'm finding it hard to remember/have time to eat. Sometimes all I have is dinner with my husband in the evening when he's home from work. It's not always the healthiest dinner either. I gained 30lbs with this pregnancy and I've lost it all already. Don't get me wrong im not complaining, I just worry if I continue to lose at this rate is my baby getting enough nutrition?

She's had a weight check and she's gaining weight and shes has plenty of wet and poopy diapers, I just want to make sure she's getting good breastmilk. I still take my prenatal and I think I do okay drinking fluids, I just worry I'm not eating healthy enough.. I've thought about getting like healthy shakes or something that I can just quickly chug down everyday? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Your milk will not suffer. Your body evolved to make milk perfect for baby's needs regardless of whether food is plentiful or not. The problem is that while all the good stuff goes in to the milk, you are left with what remains. Eating well is going to help YOU remain healthy though so it is still a good idea!

You could boil a dozen eggs, peel them, and then grab one to snack on if you are concerned about getting good nutrition (proteins, fats, calcium etc...) Otherwise it sounds like your LO is doing really well :)
