Quick question

Does anyone know if you can see the legs of standard folding banqueting tables when chairs (though not people) are around the tables?

Probably - we have some folding tables at work for children's parties and we can see the legs through them when table cloths are on and chairs are tucked in, though they aren't that noticable xx

As above, I would have thought you would see the legs, although I doubt they would be noticed by anyone other than yourself. Not because you're picky, but because you 'know' they are there and they would stand out to you
