I'm getting a new pram!

Confused between the 2 !

I like the quinny moodd, white frame pink seat, I had my heart set on this one! But I went in to the store today to have a look, still loved it but then noticed the purple stokke xplory and was like ooooooooooooohhhhhhh!

Reviews anyone ??

Xxx

I posted the exact same question when I was pregnant, and ended up with the moodd!

They both have their pros and cons - we live in an apartment and our pushchair either needed to be carried up a flight of stairs or kept in the car. The Stokke is bigger than the Quinny and I decided it was just too bulky. If this isn't a problem though, the Stokke does look excellent due to the high positioning of the seat. It looks so comfy and cosy as well. i do think the frame looks quite plasticy for the money though.

Whenever I see anyone with one I always have a pang of jealousy!

I love my moodd (in fact I have 2 but that's another story!!!) but I won't pretend that it's perfect. The back wheels are really wide and struggle through some doorways, in shops or on buses. You do get used to it though and get good at judging gaps. The shopping basket is tiny and really shallow so not much use, but I use a mummy clip to hang bags from instead. I don't think this has done the suspension much good though as it creaks a little! It is really easy to push and steer, and its easy to fold and unfold (and you can do it with the seat on forward facing (but not rear facing)

My little boy seems to be really comfy in it and never moans.

I think if I was choosing again though, I'd get neither and would probably go with an icandy peach blossom, as I'd have the option to convert it to a double then if/when we have another baby. As it is, the moodd will just get put away and we'll have to fork out again for a double (which would be the icandy we should've got in the first place!!)

I don't think the Stokke is great for London public transport (reason I didn't get it) but haven't seen the Quinny. What do you have now?

I have the quinny buzz ! So I'm quite used to quinnys! Just really prefer the white frame on the moodd! Xx

Thanks for this! I agree the stokke frame did look quite plasticy! Not sure if I woman's drawn to it because I know people would see it with me and think ooooooo lol. How materialistic am I! Lol xx

We've got the stokke xplory and I love it, no problems with it at all :-)

I'm not a fan of the stokke xplory. It looks cheap, but really isn't. Thinking from the baby's perspective, I wouldn't want a bar between my legs all the time, and when it's forward facing you can't recline it all the way, which is a bit silly, really. If you like the high seat, I'd go for an uppababy vista or cruz, they're great, very sturdy and comfy.
I don't know the quinny.

I have the stokke and I LOVE it! Can't say enough good things about it! LO is up high, out of the way of shopping bags, dogs, nosy toddlers etc, He's better able to interact with me due to the seat height. I love being able to change the look of it / customise it with the different kits - we have the summer kit on today :). LO is able to sit at the table in restarants the xplory as it converts into a highchair. It's a head turner and I get stopped every time I'm out with people asking about it lol.

These are the reasons I like it? But do you think it's practical for public transport as I myself don't have a car? Xx

Yeh it's fine on a bus, I've been on the bus with mine with no problems.

I have quinny moodd in black devotion, love it! Got mine for 262 pound brand new and boxed on ebay :D they are such lovely prams, not perfect but every pram has its downfalls, like op said small basket but I also use a mummy clip lol, never really need to use it though xx
