Rainer or Raynor

Dh has chosen the boy name but we can't agree on the spelling. Traditional spelling of the name is Rainer but DH likes Raynor and I was concerned people may pronounce it differently. I'm really stuck on this issue

So Raynor Theodore

Or Rainer Theodore

He will be Rayn or Rain for short.
