Rant warning. OH did CIO even though he knows how I feel about it :(

Just spoken to him. He said it was because Oliver had been crying a lot while he had had him. And he didn't know how to handle it anymore, plus he could feel himself getting tense. So he put him in his cot to calm down. He said he didn't intend for it to be CIO and that it was just so he could calm down. I asked that if this happens again that he goes and get's Oliver's godmother(She lives on the same street) and ask her to have him while he calms down. At least then he gets a breather and Oliver is being comforted x

We all know how it is to be frustrated, sounds like you've got a good plan in place if it happens again

Oh that sounds perfectly reasonable to be fair, you hear quite a lot on bnb about mums who need to set their LO's down while they calm down, it's fairly common.

When I read the original post, that's what I was thinking might have happened.

Glad to hear it all worked out and hope baby is feeling better! :flower:

that's great that you guys talked it out and set a plan in place in case it happens again. i totally understand where he is coming from, i would leave LO in his crib when he was inconsolable because i was so upset as well! sometimes letting them cry it out is the best thing for them if you're not able to handle it.
