basically I need a blood test done on day 2 of my cycle but im due to go on holiday on Friday and AF still not here, I did a pregnancy test this morning CD32 and its negative so im pretty sure its just doing this to p*ss me off because I cant get the test done while im away

although im irregular there is normally only 2 or 3 days difference between cycles (example: 26, 28, 31, 29 etc...) my last cycle was on 26 days so it should of started by now (at least 2 days ago) I havnt taken any medication or had any illness so it shouldn't be massively out (it only really tends goes above 31 days when ive been ill)

dont know what to do now

well I found AF she gets my hopes up just to crush me but at least I can get the test done

TBH I would consider your cycle to be fairly regular, rather than irregular.

I dont class it as irregular if its only a day or so each way but when you go from 26 days to 32 days (pretty much a weeks difference) with no reason its irregular, Ive gone from 28 days in November to 43 days in January before (with no December cycle) and then down to 36 in February then 26 in march for no reason then back to the normal 28 in April and back up to 32 in may which the hospital are happy to class as irregular the numbers in the post where rough examples (not my cycle) of the not so irregular ones

Sorry that is so frustrating.

As an aside, before I was on BC, my cycles were 28 days I could set my watch to them. After I went off BC (after being on it just a year), they ranged 26-36 days. Which made me batty. I told several nurses and doctors about this and they were like yeah...that's regular by medical standards. Still aggravating though, especially when it feels like your body is just teasing you. Maybe consider charting? You probably know this, but variation in cycle length is in the days leading up to ovulation. The number of days AFTER ovulation should be pretty regular. So then if you're having a long cycle, if you're charting, you'll know it's going to be a long cycle going in because you'll already know you ovulated late...if that makes sense?
