Re-gifting & second hand gifts

Would you, have you?

I have regifted in the past, if i get something i'm not keen on but i know someone else will love it, i will re gift it! whats the point in me keeping it under the bed when it could be enjoyed!

I recently bought my sister 3 perfect condition books from a bootsale, for £1! she'll be given them for xmas!

SO... am i stingy or do others do this too?

Regifted - all the time lol, Second hand gifts I will give but only if they look new etc

I tend to get everyone 3-4 pressies each anyway, so they always get new stuff too!

YEP i have and do to!!! i feel exactly the same if i get bought something i dont like/want theres no point it sitting on top of my wardrobe so i re-gift it.... my husband laughs at me for doing this though lol x

I actually have a box set of dvd, girly chick flick ones, that i think im going to regift, still in the wrapping!

Yes I re gift. No point it cluttering up our house if it won't get used.

I have also started with second hand presents for the kids this yr too. I am getting sick of brand new expensive toys being brought and them never getting played with.

Have had some great bargains from the charity shop and carboot sale and all in excellent condition

I got a beautiful coat from a bootsale for LO, for £2. it still had the tag on for £18!

i do i give stuff as presents that i know i wont use.. usually to people who i know wont be in the same room as the person who gave it to me lol!! ive saved baby clothes with the tags on that i was given that arent to my taste to give to my friends baby at christmas when he is born!! and i buy things off ebay with the tags on i got a £35 mamas and papas top for £2 the other day!! great bargain!!

I don't because my Dad always told me it was rude to return a gift, so it feels a bit 'icky' to me. I sold a Playstation I got when I was little to a family friend a couple of years after I got it and he made me feel really guilty about it, so I couldn't make money from a gift again it just wouldn't sit right with me

My sister bought Lucas a walker thing for about £90 and when he grew out of it I gave it away on here because I felt too wrong to sell it

No i wouldnt because i think its a bit rude tbh id be really upset if i found out someone had regifted something i had sent them.

Plus I pretty much like anything except smelly sets which i wouldnt regift as i like to put effort into the gifts i give and find these a little effortless unless the person generally likes the smellys in the set

i understand that it could be seen as rude but wouldn't you be upset if you gave someone a gift and they hated it and just lay around or they sold it for a profit?
