Re-gifting & second hand gifts

i understand that it could be seen as rude but wouldn't you be upset if you gave someone a gift and they hated it and just lay around or they sold it for a profit?

im not sure tbh i just make sure what i buy is something they would like

I have never regifted, or even thought about it to be honest, I think I would be upset if I found out someone had passed a gift on as a gift too another person, I would rather they give it too charity or just give too someone they know will use it (but not pass it off as a gift they personally got for them)

To be fair I see it as the same as selling it for profit, saving money by using it as a gift doesn't seem much different to making money off it

I never have and I don't think I would, I'd be gutted if I gave someone a present and then found out they'd given it to someone else x

I've never re-gifted as I like pretty much everything I've been given and like others have said I'd be hurt if somebody did this to a gift of mine so I probably wouldn't do it but second hand stuff if it looks brand new then I don't see why not!
