Re-usable wipe solution??

Does anyone have any good recipes for a nice wipe solution> Im using the cheeky wipes one atm but it wont last long the way im going through them!

Oh and if you have a mucky wipes one, that would be great too!

I get those and melt them in water and keep them in spray bottles...they smell soooo good too but are great for sensitive skin, my kids have the most sensitive skin and this works great with them, no breakouts or anything. Hey Jacqui,

Helen from Cheeky Wipes here - just letting you know that you can get the fresh wipes and mucky wipes oil in 50ml & 100ml bottles which are better value?

Alternatively, I've used plain lavender & plain tea tree before. Or if my wee ones have a sore bum, chamomile tea bag and honey makes a great fresh wipes solution.

I just use water at the moment. I love the tea idea hellsbells - think I'll give redbush tea a go, it's supposed to be really good for skin. Thanks

i've just made my first solution haven't used it on her bum yet but i'll let you know how it goes.

Recipe;

Using 1 cup of Chamomile tea (leave to cool and remove tea bag before using), add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a few drops of lavender oil. Put wipes in solution so they're moist but not dripping wet or sitting in standing water.


I've noticed the chamomile tea turns the wipes yellow though which makes them look a bit suspect i'm sure a soak in bleach every once in a while though will shift it.
