Hi ladies

Can anyone tell me how long those 7oz ready made cartons last for please out of the fridge?

LO has been combo-fed and never drinks more than 4-5oz at a time so when I open one of these when were out I end up throwing lots away. I've been doing this after two hours based on the powder; is it the same for the UHT carton version?

We use cow and gate. Thanks

Thanks :)

Any ideas how long it keeps for out of the fridge?

x

idk but wouldnt leave for more than 2 hours personally x

I don't know for definite, but if it's out of the fridge I would treat it as normal formula and throw away after two hours.

Yes treat as normal formula once opened. Discard after 2 hrs if out of fridge.

What we used to do was only pour how much was required well half to make easier then pop the rest of the carton in the fridge till the next one.
You can also buy litre bottles of the ready made (only certain shops tho) tesco extras do,then it's easier to pour different amounts and leave in fridge.

I use Aptamil cartons from time to time and the directions are to put remaining milk (in the carton) in the fridge and use within 24hrs. The bottle litre version says 48hrs from opening. Formula (in general) is meant to be served immediately, but within two hours as other posters have said. I find it smells funky very quickly and get put off leaving it for very long at all.

2 hours once opened if out of the fridge. Although if its warm I'd only keep it 1 hour. I probably wouldn't drink regular milk if it had been left out 2 hours in the summer which is a good guide.

It does seem wasteful at first but so convenient and it will be no time at all before your baby is drinking most if not all of a carton in a feed.
