I have heard mixed views on whether breastfeeding and being pregnant is okay or not. I have Gestational diabetes, if I got pregnant would I be able to carry on nursing. I would like to carry on for at least 4 more months til my LO is a year. After that if its not possible then okay I guess I'll stop as they dont actually need the milk then. I am so worried about this. I am not taking BC and I don't mind getting pregnant again I just worry about this nursing.

Cant help you hun but I did find this for you if it helps xx

I thought gestational diabeties formed after 27 weeks? Would you not have finished nursing by then?

I think that is when they do the test for a first diagnosis, the consensus seems to be you will always have GD in all your pregnancies so for the next one I will have to eat clean right from the word go

"GD moms that were BFing had lower fasting glucose and better HDL cholesterol"

Found that on google, so women do, do it!

hey hun just because you had gestational diabetes in ur last preg doesnt mean u will in ur next although im not doubting the chances are very high but u may not have it...hope i dont have it again soo annoying xx
