I really don't know what to do I have never had the test done before (have 2 children already) but have ordered a DIY kit with the plan to do it...
One MW I spoke to told me basically that the reason they didn't do it on the NHS was because you can have strep B one day and not the next and if it came back positive I wouldn't be able to have a home birth even though it could be gone the next day... now I'm stumped... we live an hour from hospital and I have my heart set on a home water birth but don't would feel terrible if I did have it come the day I gave birth and baby got poorly...
Please help, I'm ever so confused
