Really need willpower - Please help :)

I am having overwhelming urges to phone my babys dad. Don't know why because he just shouts at me and makes me cry. I said I wont contact him till the scan as he has now decided he wants to be involved. But thats still another 6/7 weeks away!! How do I get through this??

There really is no point in contacting him because h just gets angry. If I give him space he tends to be ok with me when we do finally speak!! Arghhh

I had that with my OH at Christmas.

I stayed at mums and played very hard to get. It was very difficult but he hated it. Men dont seem to like women chasing them but also dont like it when they arent available either.

No pleasing them.

Hey babe hope you are ok It seems your going through a hard time men are funny creatures although my hubby and i were trying for a baby it came as a complete shock to him when i told him i was pregnant a good and bad shock he's going on his last boys only holiday next week snowboarding(which is fine Im in no fit state to be doing all that) I think hes trying to cram as much in as possible before the birth. Anyway in the time I have been pregnant he's slowly started to enjoy the fact we are having this baby and after he saw the first early scan he became soooooooooo soppy. I'm not sure this helps but sometimes men just need time to get used to it.

Im sorry to hear youre having a rough time of it!!! Men can be so thoughless and insensitive. I have been in a similar situation to this myself and the only advice I can offer is do NOT call him, dont give him the satisfaction that you are even thinkin about him. I promise you if you stay strong then he will contact you soon enough because he will want to know whas goin on and why you havent been in touch (men have a funny way of turning things round on us) I say man and use that term very losely lol. How old is he?
In the mean time like the others have said keep busy and do something that makes you happy.

I think you are right in saying that you will let him see the baby as you are the bigger person is a shame you have to do this without him but saying that he doesn't exactly sound the supportive type!

I can imagine you must be all over the place with this hun and you probably want to call him to hear him say he is sorry and he didn't know what he was thinking saying all those horrible things...but be strong hun and am sure he will come to his senses but let him come to you that is for sure let him know how strong you are too
