We normally put our dirty (wet and dirty) into a nappy sack then into a carrier bag n store them in box in garden til bin day when we move them into big bin, but I went to box yesterday n it's full of maggots!!!!! I now won't go near it!!!

We only have bin collection once every two weeks, what do you do with yours??

We get rid of as much of the poo as possible into the toilet, then we put all nappies into the tommee tippee sangenic bin which eliminates most of the smell, but we do keep by the door, when it's full we empty it into a black sack as put out as normal rubbish.

Ours go into nappy bags and into a small pedal bin in LO's room. The bin gets emptied every other day onto a carrier bag which I then put into our wheelie bin. That gets emptied fortnightly.

I have noticed more flies around the wheelie bin but not sure if that's just because the weather is warmer?! It's not kept near the house though so not really an issue.

Poo goes in toilet., nappy goes in bucket in bathroom, when bucket full, all goes in washing machine. No smells, no maggots. :)

We put them in a nappy bag then in the normal bin, which we take down to the main bins daily (we live in flats and the main bin store is communal)

We just chuck ours in the kitchen bin (if it's a really stinky one it goes in a nappy bag first), then empty it at bedtime into the wheelie bin. Our bin collections are weekly, but I'd do it the same way if they were fortnightly.

Why don't you just skip the box in the garden and move them straight to the bin? Then insects wouldn't be able to get at them (or if they did it wouldn't matter!).

We have 2 Sangenic Hygiene+ nappy bins. One downstairs in lounge & one in LO's room. Nappies go straight in there & then that's emptied into the wheely bin which gets emptied every 2 weeks. But we keep our bin in our garage & the nappies are all wrapped up in the nappy bin liner so we don't have any fly/maggot issues!

Did think bout removing box but we didn't want flies etc in the bin!!! The box does have lid on it, it's an old recycling box

Are the nappy wrappers things worth the money???

Stick them in the nappy bucket till i can be bothered to wash them.

everything from one nappy change, poop+wipes get tightly wraped in the nappy then put into nappybags but we squeeze as much air out as poss before tieing them up, then into a bag lined lidded bucket by the door with binfresh dust in the bottom. this gets emptied every otherday. the less air around a nappy we find the less smell the more wrapping there is, the less chance flys could get in and make maggots. They also HATE binfresh dust. =)

We have one of those nappy bins in avas room. If we are upstairs they go in that and then when full it goes in kitchen bin then out into wheely bin. If downstairs they just go in kitchen bin. We've never had a problem with smells or flies

I put wet nappies in a nappy sack, dirty nappies in 2 then put them in the bin in Evie's room. Empty it most days into a black sack which goes in a bigger black sack in the garage.

We nappy bag them, kitchen bin then empty that into the wheelie bin each night

Into nappy bags then into a house bin, once a week our wheely bins are collected. At this stage the nappies don't really smell at all.

The nappies don't smell so not bothered bout the smell!!

Thanks ladies as always sone great advice

they all go into the diaper genie until tuesday when the garbage man comes

Diaper genie and then into the green bin (compostable items) for pickup every Thursday. No mess, no smell!!

wet nappies go into sophies sangenic bin in her room!
pooey nappies into a nappy bag and into the wheely bin!

We roll them up, use the tabs to sticky it shut nice and small, and throw it in the kitchen trash can which has a big trash bag in it. when its full we tie up the trash bag, and put it in the collection trash can outside.
