DD has just been out to the ice cream van an got a 99 cone for herself and bless her brought me one back. I feel terrible as I'm not sure I'm allowed it?

Oh good I was panicking as thought we were told to steer clear of soft serve ice cream (mcflurry, mr whippy etc!)

Mcflurry and all that are safe as well, it's unpasteurized dairy to be wary of and even then everything is fine in moderation.

The only thing I give up is alcohol. I eat whatever else I want, be it definitely meat, sushi. So o. And so forth. Moderation.

I feel better now got this on nhs lists of food

Ice cream in pregnancy

Soft ice creams should be fine to eat when you're pregnant, as they are processed products made with pasteurised milk and eggs, so any risk of salmonella food poisoning has been eliminated.
For homemade ice cream, use a pasteurised egg substitute or follow an egg-free recipe.
