Really sorry I need to rant - soooo frustrated with HPT's!

Hey,
Am quite new to this site but been stalking for aaaages!
Long story short, me and DH ttc for 7 years, 2 x mc and one ectopic which ruptured at 10 weeks (after doc sent me home 3 times saying miscarried) ectopic was in only tube after endo op took away right one.
So, one tube - very damaged - and i only ovulate every now and then. We have got our IVF referral appt next week, but im still 3kg overweight and PANICKING!

Ok, im wittering now - so, my grump is, after ttc for so long i have obv taken hundreds of HPT's (yes, im an addict) plus i do all the opk and saliva ferning monitors for ovulation. Now, I know its not very likely that i will ever conceive again naturally, but I still cant convince my heart of this fact!
So today is 13 dpo (woo, def ovulated - 2 months in a row!) and have had 4 evaporation lines now - WTF!!!! I have NEVER seen evap lines before, they are IC tests and i reckon i've got a duff batch. But, OMG how heartbreaking is that?! And yes, they are def evap as like a whitey colour, and def bfn on more expensive tesco test - and AF due yest

I'm really sorry, just needed to write this all down as DH just does not get it, and mum and friends just say - dont worry, you'll have a baby blah blah blah, yet, im sat here, 7 years later, no baby and now my home HPT's have even turned against me lol! And they were always my rock - they always said negative even on the most hopeful days - but now, noooooo they're trying to send me over the edge!!!!

I don't use ic's anymore for that very reason. I was getting evaps that just looked SOOO real. Well, I do use them - I'd be sooo skint if I didn't - but I don't believe anything until it is confirmed by a frer!

Yup - reckon im gonna bin the lot.......although will have to get another mortgage to fund habit lol, hubby reckons u should get on NHS as they give u contraceptives for free......he may have a point! x

Hey, I feel so sad after goin thro ur MSG n can definitely understand ur plight...for 7 odd yes u have been taking HPTs... My god my heart sank.. All I can tell u is don loose hope n we are all tere to help each other...u r not alone.. All of us have diff stories to tell which wud make any heart melt but I guess god has to listen to us n grant our lil baby.. I know we r not greedy to ask him a big wish list..this is wat we need n deserve...
Stay confident.. Our prayers r there for u n eveyone out there who are tryin out there giving their 100%...

I totally agree about ic's. The only test I have 100% faith in are first response early result. Having got a possible evap line yesterday on an ic's, I am off to invest in seom FRER's. Chuck 'em as they are only playing with your head.

Good luck with your IVF. I am hearing good things about Slimming World at the mo. Might be worth taking a look at.
