Really want to cry.....fed up! Where is AF?! been to Docs!

Okay I do want to scream now! CD53 after stopping pill and still nothing!! No AF ! I HATE that pill! I went tos see my doc even thought I knew what they would say and got the usual shpeel, wait 6 month etc it doesn’t effect fertility etc to which I HAD to reply, well clearly it does otherwise I wouldn’t be waiting for my periods to return!! That is affecting my fertility. She went onto say it takes time to conceive a baby and I replied, well that’s not why I am and they issue, the issue is my periods has not return after taking a pill and I was not forewarned when I started that pill, that in the future, it could take up to 6 months for fertility to return to normal.

Hun don't give up hope, I came off cezerette and it took me 56 days to get my 1st signs of AF. Someone else here took about 73 days. It will come, I promise but I feel for you because I know how upset it made me to wait I hope you get AF asap

Really sorry about what´s happening. I´ve only been waiting 3 weeks since I stopped my BCP and I´m already getting very impatient so I can´t imagine how you´re feeling.

Which BCP were you taking?

Have you tried taking Evening primrose oil or Agnus Castus? They´re meant to help sort your hormones out and get everything back to normal just that little bit quicker. There´s lots of conflicting advice regarding whether they work or not but there´s no harm in trying. Personally, I´m taking evening primrose oil. I´ll let you know next week if it has worked.

I was taking Cerazette. Last time I stopped it only took 3 weeks for AF to return. I have started taking Agnus Castus to see if it will help. Been taking it for a week now but nothing yet.

Hi I havent come off the pill but I have PCOS and I am now on cd52 so I know how annoying it is not having af I feel as if I want to just scream! As Ive pratically missed a whole month of ttc! Hopefully af will come soon for you x

I have even been looking at Progesterone cream to try and kick start things.

I didn´t even know that existed!

I think the worst thing about all this isn´t the actual time we´ve been waiting, it´s more the not knowing how much longer we´re going to have to wait and all those scary stories about people waiting 6 months or longer.

I guess that taking our supplements and making sure that we don´t get too stressed out (that won´t help at all!) is all we can do at the mo.

I looked for Fertliaid but its mainly in the USA and the one I saw on Amazone was £34.99. DH wuld flip if he knew I have spent that on some pills when I promised faithfully that this time I wouldn't get obssessed!
