Heavy bleeding is deep purple blood loss & it has clots in it. Changing a pad an hour. I had a normal period on the 10th that last til the 19th. Now this 😕 Should I be concerned???

I was told if I was filling a pad every hour that I should see a doctor. I would at the very least call a health line.

Yes. Any bleeding that's out of the ordinary you should get checked out.

I was the opposite when I had my son, bleeding stopped very quickly, within 2-3 days. Turned out I had a massive clot the size of a liver from it pooling. Was taken back to hospital in ambulance grey and with blood pressure through the floor. Hope you get it sorted.

Thank you. I waited all night for a call back. I was so tired I took myself to bed early. They called at half 2 only to be told I have to go in. I have already had sepsis. My lochia stopped at like 2-3 weeks. I had a normal period which lasted 9 days. Now I woke up yesterday with this heavy bleed. I have to go A&E to be referred to gyne
