Well my and my OH parted ways last week, still friends etc, was just better for everyone,
fact is now i don't know what im suppose to do? ... as a couple we claimed 50ish tax credits a weeks, and he got 40 working tax a week, we live(hes gone back to his folks) in a house rented to us by my parents, so i know i don't get housing benefits etc.

I assume once we contact the tax folk his working tax credits will stop ?
He is giving me money for LO, but do i still have inform CSA? and why :S?

And is there anything else i should be doing/ claiming, i havent worked since last year.. and i dont have a job to go back to (Was an agency worker lol)

so 50 pounds a week dont really seem do able lol !!! sorry if i sound dim, just never been in a situation like this before :( and never wanted to be.. i feel like a scrounger :(:blush: x

:hugs:
csa prefer if you can make a maintenence agreement between the two of you, so that they don't get involved, you may want a solicitor to document it, but if you have come to an agreement amicably there isn't any problem, you would only involve csa if he stopped paying.
benefits, as you don't work i think you are entitled to income support, child tax credit and child benefit, best thing to do is go to entitled.com who will tell you what benefits you can claim. not entirely sure if that is right, as i will be working to instead of income support i would get working tax credit.
i never expected to become a single mum either and you would be getting what you are entitled to benefits wise, we never chose to be in this position, sometimes think the im going to be a scrounger to
hope that is of some help, sure will get more accurate info from others x

make an appt at jobcentre, but u di have to claim any money he gives you as it affects something but not sure what.
