Reception school bag

My daughter is starting reception in September and was just wondering what do i need to put in her book bag?

All we needed was a book bag & a water bottle. Nothing was needed in the bag.

Just the book bag itself. You can give them a water bottle if they'll drink it.

We were told just her reading book when she gets it. Her teacher also said they can hang a bag with a change of clothes on their peg and leave it there all the time just in case of toilet accidents if you don't want them wearing the school spares! But for her normal bag that she brings home every day, just her reading book x

I would def suggest a spare set of clothes or 2. My eldest had lots of accidents when he first started reception. Also they may want you to leave a pair of wellies in school. I know ours do for when they do onsite forest school or go out for brain gym x

Water bottle, extra clothes, & his school hat , we have the option to leave the clothes & hat at school
