I'm so frustrated and confused ladies. Tomorrow it will be 6 weeks post d&c and today we finally got the results from pathology on my last pregnancy. It was a partial molar pregnancy.
I thought these results would give me insight but I'm more confused than ever.
Brief history of mine below. I would love if you ladies could maybe tell me if you knew something that would be the cause of my losses.
loss #1 : 6-weeksih fetal pole on 8 week scan. Miscarried naturally no testing.
loss #2 : 10 week scan shows 9 week fetus with no hb. Miscarried naturally but saved the tissue. 45X monosomy/Turner's.
*thyroid, lupus anticoagulant, diabetes, blood clotting panel all come back normal*
loss #3 : chemical pregnancy lost before rounding out week 5.
loss #4 : Strange ultrasounds that showed no growth. Pathology shows partial molar pregnancy.
*karyotype results show DH has normal male chromosomes. I have a pericenteric inversion on chromosome 9. Told it is a 'normal population variant' and not likely the cause of my miscarriages*
*Repeat thyroid, diabetes, lupus anticoagulant tests come up normal once again*
- I am 25 years old. Husband is 30. And no matter how much I research I can't find something that would explain my losses. Only thing is maybe poor egg quality? But would that cause a partial molar? I'm so confused!

Hi,
Yes I am in Scotland. I just called up, apparently there was no waiting list! It is based in an early pregnancy unit if a nearby hospital, try dealt with me during my first miscarriage and I was fairly happy with my care.
When I called, they told me that basically they will note down my history and take bloods. I presume they are looking for clotting disorders and the like?
The last time I miscarried, they told me that they would be able to investigate two out of four causes after two miscarriages, but I declined as I wanted everything done at once. I presume now try are going to investigate four causes? I'm guessing these would include clotting disorders, chromosomal abnormalities, physiological abnormalities, and maybe nk cells? I am really nervous as I suffer from really bad anxiety about my health anyway, so not feeling too great today!
Ladies - can you get / is it safe to use progesterone cream?
My temps are a bit low (tests just back fine for thyroid) and my lp has been 11 days (on b6 now which is helping a bit) but I wondered if a progesterone top up might help too.
Where can you get it from? Any advice?
LPF, I'm not sure what you mean by low temps. Do you mean that the temperature shift after ovulation is not strong enough?
I would speak to your GP first. They can prescribe you cyclogest, which is a pessary/suppository (can be used both ways) and is supposed to be more effective than a cream. You start it a couple of days after ovulation (once you have a confirmed temperature shift) until about 11dpo if you have sensitive tests or until you get your period.
The way I would argue with your GP is that it is a cheap can't harm, can't hurt treatment and you really need them to help you somehow...
Maybe find some research/trials online and print them out to show your GP when you go.
