Recurrent Miscarriage Thread

Think I'm having my 7th loss (5th this year). =/ So heartbroken right now.

I was tested at 9 for pregnancy in April and put on progesterone but it never went past 10. For the one I just lost progesterone was high (in the 20's I think) but was put on it anyways. It was in the 40's when mc was diagnosed.
I'm so sorry DSemcho. It's my 3rd this year and it doesn't seem to get easier does it?

So sorry DSemcho, I hope it turns out just to be a nasty scare, not a loss.

Small cramps and spotty when I walk or stand. They go away when I sit for a bit or lay down. had an OB intake yesterday, and went to the appointment but came to find he doc hadn't scheduled my appointment and had forgotten I was coming. So I saw another provider who did the hcg quant I wanted. They have to send it off base to be done so I should know the results tomorrow and I'm doing a repeat quant tomorrow too. I also got an early u,tea sound. I should have been 6w1d but they only saw a yolk sac (no fetal pole) and said I'm measuring closer to 5w3/4d. Also doc said bed rest at home and gave me two days off from work. Offered me the rest of the week but we need the money and I don't get sick leave.

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this DSemcho. I'm praying your little bean sticks and is healthy for you.

Gosh, that's cruel! No sick leave! It's good that you had a scan and saw something there  Not all is lost!

I'm really sorry dsemcho, praying everything works out for you, take care x

Level for Tuesday came back at 6,493 (5w5d). Had to get another blood draw today so tomorrow I will know for sure.

Hope your numbers go up. Will you be able to get another u/s?

I'm not sure. I should be 6w on Friday so we will see. Depending on my hcg level, and how work goes tomorrow, me and DH are discussing me taking medical leave for a week or tw (w/o pay).

In reference to the progesterone question-I was put on it initially without testing because the dr felt my losses were due to low/dropping progesterone levels around 8-9 weeks. I carried my son to term right after that on 200mg each day. Since then, I've had my progesterone tracked somewhat during pregnancy and my levels stay low even with an increased dosage of prometrium (400mg each day). Along with this, my hCG stays low too. I've never cracked 25,000 with any of my pregnancies-even my successful ones. So I guess you could say that I'm on without full testing but I take it for peace of mind.

DSemcho-I'm really hoping this is just a scare. I've had spotting and cramping lead to loss but I've also had two pregnancies that were okay despite spotting and cramping. My last pg was my worst thus far-I was spotting, bleeding, cramping, passed a few small clots, literally every sign of miscarriage from 5-11 weeks but scan after scan showed baby was hanging in there. She's now a happy 5 month old. So I know well how scary this is for you but I also know there's still hope. Especially since your hCG is rising very nicely. Drink plenty of water and take it easy. Hopefully tomorrow's bloods will be super high and you can get a scan for reassurance.

I'm taking it as easy as I can. Honestly I'm expecting it to play out like the rest have, but my husband is talking about me sitting on my butt and just crocheting for a couple of weeks lol.

Please keep us updated DSemcho. Wishing you the very best of luck.

Thanks for the info dairymomma. I'm still questioning whether or not I should get the cream? My level was 13.38ng/ml which my doctor said was normal. I've Googled it and what I've found is anything over 10ng/ml is good, 15ng/ml if you are taking progesterone supplements. So...not sure what I should do?
