Red bleeding at 9 days post surgery?

I had my section 9 days ago and recovery has been fine. I had a small amount of of bleeding for the first few days then it turned to the rusty colour and then more watery. Yesterday and today I'm having some actual bleeding though. Not much really but when I look its quite red really. Should I get this checked or think its normal? I'm breast feeding and it can't be my period at 9 days.

My bleeding has changed throughout with some days being heavier than others with some days being pink and watery and others being more red then others brown. I checked with my health visitor yesterday and she said this was normal (I'm 12 days post section) so I wouldn't worry too much. Make sure you're not getting any clots though

I was fairly active yesterday and there's not a lot there. Ill keep an eye in it for the next day or so. Thanks for letting me know.

Mine's been all over the place. I'm just over 5 weeks pp and having red blood on/off... Just small bits. Bled non stop (the horrible colours) for about 3.5 weeks. There are a few more threads further down about pp bleeding. They may reassure you x
