I did see the AIMS article and on the whole found it is very empowering - when time is on your side.
But what happens when you get told at 37 weeks, when you are basically a "full term" ticking timebomb that you can't have your home birth because there are no midwives available to come out to you? It doesn't give you long to get your letters out to the heads of sheds. Also not good for mums to be under stress at this stage in their pregnancy. I really have a lot to chat to my doula about!
