It is so much better now, suddenly I wake up and don't feel like I am going to chuck it down the loo, the days have been much easier on me since yesterday and I am full of energy. I hope I am not speaking too soon but I feel like I am reaching the end of my nausea now...have had it for 4 weeks, been hell!!

Fingers crossed and yes there is hope for those that have been suffering like this

lucky bugger! I'm 10.5 weeks and I am actually feeling worse this week. I thought the placenta was supposed to be working! Ah well only 3.5 weeks of first tri left and I'm hoping to feel better soon!

I've only had it for two...

Desperate for it to slow down on me. I work too much to deal with it and it makes me so miserable and irritable.

I know, I was expecting to feel crap till 13th week as I googled way too much to find out when most people feel better, it has ranged from 10 - 13 but mostly 13 weeks the problems seem to go. I just feel much better as my appetite has come back today, I can drink tea (I missed that, wanted it but the smell made me go yuck), can have milk without my stomach turning and can eat more than a slice of toast.

I just love food way too much, would it not be wonderful if we could just go off food for a period of 4 weeks when we are not pregnant, think of all the rest we would give to our system and lose all the necessary weight a healthy way. Sods law though - when we need to eat we cannot and when we want to keep off food we cannot!!

Well into my 10th week and I just threw up my dinner :( I would love to feel better soon.

I'd been feeling better the past 2 days...then today I threw up twice before 10am and I am on diclectin! Lol

MS is miserable!! Thought I would be getting better by now but still horrendous constant nausea and just threw up my breakfast. Can't wait for the pregnancy glow to finally kick in. Hope everyone is feeling much better very soon x

I was sick from the word go (abut 3 weeks!) and could not leave the bedroom for 5 weeks due to having my head over the toilet (i have an en suite thankfully) about 40 times a day. I lost a stone and i am now 14 weeks tomorrow and over the last week i have puked twice. i still wretch when i wake up, and again today i re burst the blood vessles in my eyes. I still cannot eat most things but now i can eat big portions. While i was at my worst, time felt as if it had stopped but looking back it actually feels as if it has gone quickly. Hold in there (when people said that to me i would roll my eyes then go vomit again) and try and sleep as much as you can, i found if i could force myself to sleep on my left side sitting upright i felt a bit better. I found every other day what i could and couldn't tolerate would change so try and have a few things handy. Also keeping as still as possible when eating and drinking does help. I even had trouble getting up when i need to go for a wee as i didn't want to get in there and puke, so i would work myself up to get up for about 5 hours! I hope you continue getting better and we can all put it as a distant memory! Apart from i still have to sleep in the avo but thankfully not due to sickness lol x

wow sunflower that is some heavy sickness there!!

I hope everyone feels better soon - I hate feeling sick :(

Sickness is the one thing i detest. I actually thought i was going to puke myself inside out, right to my toe bones! I carry around toothpaste and toothbrushes as a main handbag accessory now, how sad is that lol.

:( poor you :hugs: be good, but cleaning my teeth makes me sick  I dread it but it has to be done!!!!

I have been the same, I would dread brushing my teeth, as soon as the brush went near my mouth I would start gagging. For last 5 weeks have done 60 second brushing and even that's been torture. Watching DH brushing would make me gag too, so he was under strict orders to brush with the door closed.

I was full of energy yesterday, have been okay today but have this terrible cold, blocked nose and sore throat. Still I would rather have this than the MS and that horrible nausea.

I do hope all of you soon see the MS gone, I am sure from 10 weeks-13 weeks things start to ease off, so hang in there...its almost the tailing off period..

I am now at the stage where it is my best friend. They say blokes do splash and dash when peeing, well i was doing splash and dash teeth cleaning lol. Sooo wrong but it was all i could manage!

sunflower, you sound like me. Had it since 4 weeks and i am 10.5 weeks and without diclectin i threw up 3 to 4 times a day and i couldnt eat either. i had hyperemesis gravidarium which is worse for your health so i went on the diclectin. it truly does suck

mine came back. I know have nausea for the 1st 3 hours upon waking where all i can stomach is arrow root cookies. And again a few hours before bed. where my bed time snack has to be again arrow roots.

i'm happy that i get several hours of more normality.

I thought I was feeling better because I had a day or two where I was eating, and not throwing up, but it was all a lie!!! It feels like I'm back to square one throwing up at least twice a day, with all day nausea.

mine hasn't subsided yet....i'm really hoping this is the last week....i miss food so bad
