I am going into work on Thursday for a KIT day. I will be there from 9-2 so I'm guessing I will need to express once during that time. It's so long since I did this that I can't honestly remember how the whole sterilising thing works. If I sterilise my pumping equipment in the morning, will it still be OK to use three or four hours later? Thanks :)

Oh goodness yes. I only sterilized mine once when it was new. After that, either wash in warm soapy water or run through top rack dishwasher. I then let it air dry on the drying rack and then stored in a ziplock bag or even just wrapped in a clean burp rag until use. Then I stored in the fridge/cooler between uses until the end of the day, then washed before next use.
