I've tried two creams and a pessary and it still won't go away! :(
I don't know what to do, any advice?
My baby is due in 2 weeks :(
I feel so down and disgusting :(
X

:hugs: Poor you. I have had it quite frequently during this pregnancy, although not REALLY bad, and its really awful. Have you been to your doctor? If you tell them that you have tried Canesten, they have other creams which are stronger. Treat your OH as well because he can pass it back to you :(
:hugs:
I have spent a lot of time, half dressed in the shower, blasting cold water at my bits to cool the itching!

I'm just worried its something else! :(
I was given canesten which I use everyday! :(
It worked then stopped :(
It's driving me insane and so worried about bubba catching it or it being something more serious :(
My midwives no use :(

Do I sound silly?
I've not been having sex because of it :( I just want it gone!
Do I demand a swab?
x

I had a really heavy case and I used the pessary/cream combi and drank actimel 2-3times a day , was good as new in a few days!!

:hugs: I've been in agony with it for weeks, canesten has done nothing for me. I went to the dr and was prescribed a 3 night course of econzale nitrate pessarys and cream. I'm on the second night now am I'm starting to feel some relief. Ask your dr to try that - canesten can sometimes lead to the thrush becoming resistant apparently and it doesnt work for everyone so this is a prescription only alternative treatment. Good luck, it's miserable isn't it!

I'm only 10 weeks pregnant but am a regular sufferer of thrush. I had it again a few weeks ago and my GP took a swab to confirm it, he prescribed me a 5 day course of pessaries and *touch wood* it seems to have worked.

Ask your GP to do a swab to confirm thrush and if it is ask for a several day course of pessaries. I hope it gets better for you soon x
