Good morning lovelies!

I have made an appt with my FS on April 11th as I want to discuss possibly being testing for reproductive immunlogy diseases/disorders as a possibility for the reason behind my unexplained infertilty. Has anyone gone through these? should I bring anything or has a doctor denied anyone having the tests done as they think its "pointless". All throughout this process, I dont know about some of you ladies, but for me I'm always afraid of being told something can't be done and then never have the answers I want, I'm impatient and a little bit of a control freak and this process has made that all a little worse ha ha!

Any experience with reproductive testing ladies?

Hi Hun! At the moment I'm trying to find a clinic that carries out these tests. Please keep me updated with your results and I will you too

Hi ladies! I had reproductive immunology testing done a couple months ago. My RE said it is still an experimental testing/treatment, that it is very expensive, and insurance typically doesn't cover it. He had me do a limited reproductive immunology test rather than the full thing. I haven't gotten the bill yet, but it was worth it whatever the cost because it turns out that my NK cells are overactive and my body is killing off all the sperm/embryos!

I had my first treatment with an intralipid infusion last cycle but unfortunately got BFN. I go this coming Wednesday for my next infusion. Praying this cycle works!!!

There is another thread on this topic called "Infertility and Overactive Immune System." A couple other people shared their experiences in this area on that thread. Hopefully you'll find some helpful information there.

Good luck to you both!!!
