Reuseable wipes

I just realised I have thi spack off 50 muslin squares but they're small ones probably about th size of my hand and I was thinking I could use them as wipes but do you think they wouldn't be very nice on babies bum? Or could I use these as wipes? Sorry might be a silly question Thanks

I'd say they would be fine, i use a flannel type material for poo and fleece for normal and drying

Flannel might be softer. I sewed some flannel backed by clothe used for diapers, but it was too hard when wet, and now I only use the flannel side to wipe baby's bum. I should have just sewed flannel/flannel. I also have flannel/terry clothe for the big messes.
