Right hand shoulder pain?

Has anyone else got this? It is at my right shoulder blade. It happens whenever there’s no pattern and it is excruciating . I can’t get comfortable and hot water bottles or ice or paracetamol don’t seem to ease it much. I am due to see midwife tomorrow so will ask her for any help on how to get comfortable but it’s sufdnyly come on in the last week or two and I’m not sure why. I’ve had an OT assessment done at work and she did t “think” there was an issue with my posture.

Any hints or tips on shifting it?

Not sure it's pregnancy related? Has it eased or did you get some advice? x

If no improvement go and see an osteopath that specialises in pregnancy. There's lots of shifting around of bones etc especially in pelvis and it could be a trapped nerve, they can help with posture too. Honestly the best money I've spent in pregnancy, she helped my SPD no end!

what did the midwife say?
i had excruciating pain tonight on my left shoulder. the heat pad has helped some but it started when we were out with kids to a pumpkin patch and it was just so painful i wanted to go cry in the car.

Midwife thinks it’s probably just strain but might be gall stone indicator so to keep an eye on it. I got bra extenders and that’s made a difference so maybe just due to that
