hi, I'm new to this, just after a bit of advice, my partner and I have been ttc for over 2 years, I've been referred to a infertility specialist, I've had my tubes checked with the dye an been told my right fallopian tube is blocked also I had blood tests on certain days of my cycle an I'm not ovulating ! So double blow ! Don't know what the hospital will decide to do,

Hi Jo.
Sorry to hear you are having a hard time of it. Have you had an ultrasound on day 3 of your cycle or whats called a 'antral follicle count' - this scan checks how many follicles you have.
Do you have regular cycles normally? Have you temped? Have you any other confirmation where you think you might ovulate, like the fertility monitor?

The reason I ask, is my blood results, Day 21, never showed ovulation - I always felt I ovulated late, when I used to temp and use the clearblue fertility monitor - but because of my day 21 blood results I was told I dont ovulate. However, I happened to have my HSG on day 14 and they were able to see that I was due to ovulate 2 days later.

Try not to worry about the one blocked tube, if you ovulate from the good side, they should be able to help you.
When is your next appointment?

Hi thanks for replying, yeah I had an ultra sound scan before I had my blood tests an she said there was a follicle there, then I had the xray/dye then the blood tests, my other half has done the semen test an he is fine, when I went to doc yesterday he said he was confused as the ultra sound showed a follicle but the blood test showed I wasn't ovulating I went an got the clearblue ovulating tests, I did one test sat tea time an there was no smiley face, I did one sun morning an it showed a smiley face I did another about 6 hours later an the smile had gone, I'm back at the hospital on 29th May, I need to lose weight as well I know that but it gets u so down I just think $&#@ it x

Yep I know that feeling! It sure is tough, but hang on in there, each test comes with a clearer outlook. They say we don't ovulate every month so perhaps the stress of it all threw you off. The best ways to determine ovulation is temping or the fertility monitor.
They may decide to put you on clomid and then scan you regularly to check for ov.
I know it's hard not to feel disheartened but try try try to remain positive, at least you are in the road to answers.
I know how hard it is to stay motivated and lose weight especially when you have cwap results but try to focus on the outcome.
