ring on a string rant

I tried the ring on a string prediction/wives tale test today, my husband held the ring over my tummy and it said boy. (I also held the ring over me and it said boy)

I've read a lot of people have done this and it was accurate. But I read that its all controlled by your subconscience. Like if you WANT it to say boy, it will, or if u WANT it to say girl, it will. But, it was weird because when I held it over my husbands tummy (as a control in my experiment, lol) the ring didnt move at all!



SO, both my husband and I want a boy. His mother thinks it will be a boy. I havent asked any other people what they think yet, (Not many people know, as I am only about 5 weeks)

Also, I got a cheri22 prediction awhile back, just for fun. and she said I would have a boy. BUT! She said in july. so....yeah, thats already not accurate.

anyway. I'm hoping this old wives tail is accurate.

I always say this test is controlled by your sub-conscience! I don't know for sure. With me it said girl...but I really wanted a girl. I also found out a few days ago, I'm indeed having a girl. So it's hard to tell if it works or not. Lol.

I truly think it's controlled by your subconscious. I wanted my first and second pregnancies to be a girl... ring test said girl but both were boys. It worked with this pregnancy but again I wanted a girl... fortunately third time is a charm!

I think it's in our subconscious too! It said girl for me this time and I really wanted a girl.. It was right though haha. I never did it the first time when I was pregnant with my son.

With my second dd it would swing between girl and boy which according to the old wives tale would suggest boy/girl twins! It was half wrong

It can't always be our subconscious. My wife did that test on my belly, and it said girl. It's true that I want a girl, but the thing is: we knew how to do the test, but we didn't read what the results might mean, so when the ring started making big circles, we didn't know if it meant boy or girl...so it couldn't be subconscious. Anyway, we still have to wait at least 2 months to find out

I did this in both my pregnancies, it said boy both times..... it was right on one of the two pregnancies at any rate!
