Ring resize costs

Anyone know roughly the cost to resize a silver ring, it's got to be made bigger by a couple of sizes? Oh and it's silver? X

I don't know about silver but my gold one cost me £45 for one size.

Say maybe something around about that?

I had a diamond ring re-sized (smaller) at a local jewellers, cost £15, and took a week

to have my silver ring made bigger (by about 4 sizes) it was £7.50. (independant jewler) but it was a few years ago, i would estimate about £15

Is it a plain ring or does it have stones in love? A plain one will only cost you about a tenner - maybe a little more. Silver rings with stones in can't be resized because it's such a soft metal and heating it would upset the setting too much and the stones could fall out.

I used to work in a jewellers but that was a year ago before I had Fran so not totally up to date with prices xx

I think mine only cost about £14, I was so surprised as I thought it was going to cost a lot more.
