Ring Test for Gender

Has anyone done the ring test? It's suppose to tell the gender off all pregnancies including miscarriages.

I tried two different ways and it came out the same.

Girl then boy.

I did a ring test that vinteenage described but I don't know if it the same one you did because I didn't know it could tell miscarriges also. The one she described said I was going to have 13 kids so I hope it is wrong lol.

How did you do yours?

I did three different ones.

The first you put a ring on a string hold it in your right hand. Place it over your left palm face up and wait until it moves. If it goes in circles it's a girl. If it goes front to back or side to side its a boy. It will pause between each one then eventually stop completely. If it doesn't pause that indicates twins. (Do not hold it over your belly it must be in front of you.)

The second one is the same expect you "dip" the ring up and down beside your hand three times before you start and after each pause three times until it stops moving. (Do not hold it over your belly it must be in front of you.)

The third you sit in a reclined position and hold the string and ring in your right hand over your left hand that is over your belly just wait for it to move. That will tell you the gender of your fetus.


I tried it like 4 times each test and they came out exactly the same. Girl then Boy and it said girl over my belly every single time.

Test #1 results: Without pausing it went from boy to girl to boy so what does that mean??? I am only having one this time lol. Then I tried again because I was confused and it was Girl, Boy, Girl then with out pausing it went from boy, girl, boy.

Test #2 results: 3 boys then again without pausing it went from boy, girl, boy, then nothing

Test #3 results: It's a girl!!! I tried 3 times lol and each time it came out a girl.

So none of them are the same. Now what haha?

Maybe you will have lots of hermaphrodites? LOL I have no clue.

These tests are never the same with me. I just hope the one i did that vinteenage described which was very similar to your second test isn't right. I can't handle 13 kids haha. I am good with 4. But it will be fun to see what I will be having in the future to see if any of the tests are right.

My MIL did it on me before I knew I was having a girl. IMO they're flukes. They're just rings, not crystal balls xx

Funny story about this.
My mom is kind of a quack and made me do the needle test (same as ring test but with a needle) when I was like 9 weeks.
It said I was having a girl. She was so convinced and said it has NEVER been wrong.
She told all these people I was having a girl, she went to pottery barn and registered for all this pink stuff.
She went nuts, I wasn't convinced though...I knew there could be a chance for either.
Lo and behold, I'm having a boy.
You should have seen her face when she found out!!!!

Mine said boy every time. Every single gender test I did turned up positive for boy. But... I've got a girl. With "perfect girl parts" lol.

every test i did said girl (ring test, chinese gender test, cravings, etc etc) and i am but im sure it was just a coincidence, lol.
