hi,

i have bought a duck for xmas dinner. have been told to cook it upright. where can i get a "spike" that cooks it upright so the fat can drain out?

thanks

Have you tried Lakeland they tend to do unusal cooking gadgets.

i was gonna say lakeland!

yep and they dont sell them anymore. tried tesco, asda, wilkinsons, argos, john lewis and westgate house (co-op chain) all with no luck.

i found this, i think its what you are after?? seems expensive though!

thats similar, most are just a metal triangle that the bird sits on and it goes in a normal roast tin. every1 i spoke to has said between £5-10.

we got a normal tin with grill bit so the fat can drain.
