Im still having 'soft' cramps but I think it's more pre-Af than pre-bfp. Not getting any bb symptoms so think I'm out.

Really pleased you've achieved the stage where you are both comfortable approaching the topic. I can understand your OH's reservations. I think women are so much more at ease confronting any issues and discussing them. It's often a big blow for men to find that ttc isn't always as straightforward as we are led to believe.

I've finally booked my docs app for tomorrow after work. Hurrah! So I'm feeling very positive today. Mrs, the EPO direct application is doing a great job for me! Only applied it twice before bed so far and my skin has really cleared up. It might be coincidence because my skin always calms down around this time so we'll see!

Thanks hun. I got my preseed from Walgreens for $19.99. Its kind of pricey so I have to hide it when I'm not in my fertile period because OH goes crazy for that stuff GL to you.

Thanks I'm in Uk and I've shopped around on-line and in a few shops and the cheapest I've seen is £12.99 for a 40g tube. Not sure if that's good or not as I have nothing to compare it to. Maybe you should buy some KY or a cheap equivalent for outside your fertile time to make the good stuff last!

DH´s infection is getting better!! cant wait until we start next cycle! Ive been temping and seems like this month Im getting a delay!! I should have ovulated already, but temp hasnt changed at all! oh well!!

That girl with the huge sunglasses is me back in 1987! those are my dad´s raybans!!! I wish I still had them... they´re being used now!!

Leafy how did it go?? Did you ask about your womb that is in retrograde?(astrological reference!) I was meaning to say that im impressed with the topical use of EP. It has helped clear some pimples. Do u put it on all of ur face or just the problem bits?

DH got his SA in 45 minutes after production. He thinks there was more in it so that's good.

Pola: really pleased that the infection is clearing. Interesting about Ur temping. Keep us posted. Any other signs that u might have ovd and the thermometer is wrong?

Thank you! *blushes* and yes, today I realized my thermometer doesn't work correctly. This one you temp, turn it off and the temp saves. You press a buttom and you see how much you got. I'm always sleeping when I temp. Today I saw I got 35.7c and later according to it, it was saved like I got the usual 36.5c!!! And today I have EWCM... I hate my thermometer!!!

GL with the on-the-spot checking, you could probably do with writing it down although I am shabby at temping so it's probably best not to take any advice from me! It's great that the infection is clearing - looks like the coast will be clear for your next cycle.

I went to the Drs and told her that my partner had been to book a SA but was told I was required to finish my tests. She then told me that I already had all the tests I needed and that Oh's Dr didn't check my notes...So it was a wasted visit but she did say that she would check app times at the hospital and call oh to book him in for SA. So at least that's something, but this could have been arranged by phone or when oh went for his app! Ah well.

I didn't mention my retrograde (!) womb I was biting my lip after the cock up and didn't want to take it out on my nice Dr! She said that if the results of SA aren't good she can give me so me tablets to help me ovulate...I thought, I know what tablets you are referring to and don't you need to check that I am ovulating before you pack me off with medication?! She did ask if I'd already had an ultrasound so I'm presuming things will be done in a proper order but I have very little faith at the moment!

Enough of my babbling on, hope everyone is ok - thank god it's Wednesday, downhill from here on in! xx

Sounds like ur dr was clutching at straws a bit hey?!? 'if there's a problem with the sperm we'll treat
out the eggs' errm?!? I get that they would increase the 'target' for the little men but surely medicine is more advanced than that!

NICE recommend 1. SA and blood test 2. Check fallopian tubes (through ultra sound i guess). If u r diagnosed with a fertility problem u should be referred to a specialist team.
Once u get SA may I suggest asking for an onward Referral. Might even be worth calling the local clinic to ask referral criteria.

Not much to report today. Been rushed off my feet at work resulting in upper back pain?!? so I've promptly googgled that as a pg symptom. I am also incredibly short tempered so AF is sure a visit.

Good on u for starting a new fitness regime. I'm currently sitting on the sofa eating chocolate!! that pound is sure to find it's way back to me!! Shattered. The berocca isn't touching me this week!!

General Practitioner are the operative words here! I will certainly be going with an arsenal of questions when we return following the results of the SA. Thanks for the NICE guidelines Mrs, I did check the site when you mentioned it but didn't see the pdf link. It's a great guide and I feel so much better knowing that if there is a problem, there are plenty of routes to take. I like the step by step instructions on what should and shouldn't be taking place and when. I've saved it in my ttc folder for future obsessing over!

If there is an issue with the SA I would feel much more comfortable being referred to a specialist so I'll certainly keep it in mind! God bless your bossy boots lol! I've been accused of it quite a few times. I like to call it forthright not bossy!

At this point Even though it'd be great to conceive naturally, I wouldn't mind skipping all of that and having my fertilised egg implanted in and instruct the surgeon to physically bury it in my womb lining! Job done!

Do you know when you will receive the results of the SA? I hope it's not too long. I wish we had booked this SA sooner, like 8 months sooner! My first app was in Feb! The last thing I want to do now is wait for results!

Back pain sounds very promising. I thought af related back pain was more in the lower region?

Chocolate is always good! I inhaled a crunchie today, it was shameful and what's worse - it was my breakfast! Don't think of it as counteracting the weightloss, think of it as saving you from throttling someone! Well worth it!

Ha ha. Wow a crunchie breakfast and it's not even Friday!!!! We won't get results of SA until our December clinic appointment. I wish we'd made gp do the SA and bloods cos we would be able to call for the results. But I think with this clinic it's 'get the tests done and we'll see u in 4 months!' better make sure there's chocolate in the house that day. Feeling pretty vulnerable. However I have heard good things from the consultant so I'm sure we'll leave with a plan.
I know what u mean about getting the 'job done' I can't imagine moving on from ttc. It just feels part of our existence. It used to be for making a baby and now it's just something we do. Woe is me hey!?! That must be the AF talking.
At least u can go back to gp with a plan, u might be 8 months later than u'd like but I bet ur more emotionally ready hon. It happens this way for a reason.

I know what you mean, I think even when we get our BFP's we'll be on this site talking about the pg journey! I can't imagine ever complaining about kankles and nausea but I'm sure I'll give it a good bash when I'm going through it!

You have to literally lay yourself bare, get prodded, poked and drained of blood so it's unsurprising you're feeling a bit vulnerable. You'll appreciate feeling much more well informed when equipped with your plan of action. I don't like to use the word 'empowered' (very 90's Spice Girls word!) but it's apt in this situation! Knowledge is power!
It took about a week to get the results of my bloods so when they do eventually request them it won't be so long. Once the bloods are out the way the big procedures will start to happen which will raise the chances of achieving that BFP by far. It's small steps now, it'll be leaps and bounds before you know it!

Friday's are my pig out days. Munchies, big hearty lunch and takeaway for dinner! It's a sin to cook on a Friday! This week I'll be going out for a meal with friends so I'll try not to stuff myself too much! Then I have a friends wedding on Saturday so it'll be a busy one. Good job I'm not O'ing because there'd be no chance! 'I'm tired, get off!'

yes, seems like next cycle we will have "green light" to keep on TTC!!!

My uterus is also like yours... my gyno said this wont interfere with TTC, he said that the most you can get, is pain during sex. He explained me too, that you can get your uterus in the right place with either pregnancy or surgery! so nothing to worry about that!!

It has cleared. I reckon it was stress. I had a student yesterday so it was probably that. Today I mostly have a cold. I feel that Af is imminent tomorrow or Saturday I think.

Going to start temping this month. We've taken control of the kittens sleeping patterns so I should get three hours uninterrupted.

I hope the wedding is good fun. I love a good wedding.

yeah! is no biggie! my mom and sis had the same type of uterus, and besides, they both have PCOS like me... yet, they got pregnant with no prob!!
