Roll up, roll up! Statistical chance of at least one BFP! - *15th BFP Announced!*

oh, i am waiting until a week on tuesday to test f AF hasn't shown her face!

Sorry about the job fo. How disappointing. Something right will present itself to you soon. I understand from ur journal that a week Tuesday is one week after Af is due. If u make it that long I think we will know the answer. Really hoping that the emotional roller coaster u are on stops at bfp street. Will make it all worth it.

i like my job just now but this one was perfect for me, i'll just apply again in a year :haha: to be honest it's probably for the best anyway.

i hope so too! hope i am a bit less crazy this week :haha: i couldn't sleep last night even though i was knackered so i ended up staying up late making more christmas decorations with felt, knackered this morning :dohh:

Hi gals! sorry Ive been away lately! Ive been hanging with some girls here, and Ive been relaxed on the TTC matter... so Im supposed to OV today... I hope the distraction can help! ;)

good luck! :D

Mrs, your job sounds so interesting! I can imagine that you get so much pleasure from assisting others. I can see why you would stick at it, as stressful as it may be at times!

I'm really pleased you're having a breather cycle. Anything that could decrease your stress levels before the appointment is a good thing. Lets hope you have one of those 'oopsy - the month I stopped trying I got my BFP' cycles that we all long for!

OH is looking forward to redoing the SA in a weird way. He's planning on not abstaining for so long this time in the hope that the results will improve. We left it 7days for the first test and I'm not sure if that had a negative effect on the results. This time he's abstaining for 3 days before the due date so that the sperm will hopefully be at their most active. I'm not sure if I'm expected to participate in the non-abstinence, it's a heavy assumption on his part!

Did your DH book a second SA? Does he have to leave a certain amount of time in between apps? I'm not sure if I can book my ultrasound before we have the SA results back. I need to go back to the doctors I've got lots of questions and I'm way too impatient! She did discuss referring me to a FS the last time we spoke so I hope that's the next step. It's all very exciting! This is what I'm reduced to, getting excited about referrals and invasive tests!

Thanks for the warm wishes Foquita. So glad to hear you're feeling better...or not feeling as crazy! You've been making me all emotional at how emotional you were and I'm the most emotionally devoid person I know! Sorry about the job, the last position I went for was nothing like the job description and I was so annoyed about it - if it helps you should assume that this job was either too good to be true or not all that it cracked up to be. Keep looking, you'll find something perfect for you I'm sure. In the meantime you'll be able to wallpaper your house in Christmas decorations...or donate them to your new on-line bud who is too lazy to make them herself!!

Talking of crafty things, I'm knitting myself a dress atm - this is the dress and pattern.

I hope it turns out OK and I have no splitting bottom disasters like the last one!

Very excited about you holding out to test! So you're due today? I hope your wait pays off hun, good luck x

It's the age old conundrum - money vs happiness. Like you, I'd love both in equally high quantities! For now, I'll accept less money for a balanced work/life situation. However I am very fickle and my true happiness does come at a price!

Hi Pola, yay for your O day! I think you've done a stellar job this month at taking things easy. I need to take a page out of your book and actually relax when I say I'm going to! Hope you're having a good time with your girlies and really hope your efforts have paid off this cycle xxx

:hi:

Pola well done on entering the dreaded 2ww! :dust:

Foquita sorry about the job and the emotions, I didn't get a job I really wanted last week too. A grad job :( - i'm sure something will come up soon. :dust: as I see you are hopefully waiting on a :bfp:

Mrs - glad you have eased some of the stress. I don't think that you could categorically say that 15 months means you have something wrong with ya. But GL anyway and if you do I hope that it's fixable. As the others have said when/if you get round to adopting you won't care about their name :cloud9: you'll love them all the same... Glad you had fun with your niece(s). My niece is nearly 3 and I love her.

Leafy - I just downloaded that pattern, do you know what kind of yarn it is DK or aran or what? Is it 4mm needles that you use the #6 is for USA right? You seem in better spirits with the job and all that

I have been absent due to rowing with the OH :nope: though I did get some flowers out of it. :haha: I am approacing O (I think/hope)

Hi Jaynie, glad to have you back hun :) I actually thought you and your DH had been rowing in the nautical sense and thought 'oo fun!' until I read the bit about the flowers...I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes! Glad things have settled down between you.

The dress is lovely isn't it? I'm using DK yarn - don't ask me what ply, I have no idea! No.6 is 4mm but I only have the short 4mm needles so I'm using the 4.5mm and it's coming out fine.

I got the pdf from this site https://www.planetpurl.com/planetpurl/patterns/ladies-dresses-knitting-patterns - I had to join to get the patterns but there's a few that I like on there. The second one from the bottom is my next project!

Feeling a lot more positive these days, thanks. Lots of distractions at the moment so ttc isn't the main focus of my world.

How are things with you hun? Hope O day lands with a bang for you and soon! In the meantime making a start on your dress will keep you occupied!

Thanks - HA! I wish we had been rowing in the nautical sense. That would have been more fun.

I don't know about ply either just UK isms that I know and use. Cool I think when I have the provisions that is what I will knit. I bought some knit pro cable knitting needles the other day and I want to learn how to cable knit before I think about knitting something else :-k

I think that it is important to not have TTC as your life. Sure it's a massive part of it... This is why like Foquita I don't deny myself stuff in the 2ww (alcohol and the odd cigarette, I am a social smoker - though I pick it up with stress is like a vicious circle when TTC) until I confirm a pregnancy. People have been having babies forever and i'm sure babies have survived worse than what I can get up to in the 2ww :haha: as I am still a :fool: TTC-er.

I rant so bad on here and I am sure I should be making tea :-k making a chicken arrabiata from scratch...

that dress is gorgeous! my mum is knitting me a lovely cardigan just now, and a scarf. I've got a lovely hat she knitted me the other day too. I treat her like a sweat shop :haha:

feel free to knit me a dress and send it up to scotland :p i'll pin all my Christmas decorations on it :haha:

red wine is good for you anyway firstbaby :haha:

I'm ridiculously Zen today, I ended up testing last night and getting a bfn but I was so brave, I didn't cry or anything :haha: anyway I've had AF cramps all day and I felt that AF had come so I went to the toilet it was just loads of watery brown and pink CM? it was actually dripping out of me into the toilet, but is totally gone now and there is no sign of AF. I've NEVER spotted before (if that is spotting?) , I keep going to the toilet to check and kinda squeezing on the toilet paper and nothing else. I am so hopeful about this, usually AF comes full force so this is definitely new. I'm still cramping as well which doesn't happen to me before AF. aaaahhhhhh! I just need to wait and see what happens, I can't really say when AF is 'late' because I didn't temp this cycle so I'm just going by pains and EWCM. I originally thought I was 11 DPO today but now I'm thinking 9.

by the way TTC has turned me into a pure minger, writing about my CM on a public forum and being interested in other peoples reproductive systems :dohh: :haha:

what I meant was I was so Zen, then that happened :haha: I was en route to the toilet with a tampon thinking that I was happy that AF was here because it would mean I have some semblance of a regular period even if it is 56 days long, now I'm all confused but in a good way!

Leaf that dress looks cool.I would completely balls it up. Post some completed pics my dear. Hey jaynie that's for the support, I am always a bit crazy when AF arrives I'm relaxing back into being normal now.

There's an open day at a fertility clinic next weekend and we are going. I think that will help us deal with whatever the nhs fs says. Even of its unexplained. Will keep u posted.

Another mega stressy day at work. It is a pleasure when it's going well but a nightmear when it's not. Tomorrow will be better.

Jaynie we all have our coping mechanisms during the TWW - Mine is called Morgans Spiced and I love him so! Probably a little too much! You enjoy your dinner :) It's my OH's turn to cook tonight. It's a toss up between Lasagne or Sausages and Mash I think. I want Lasagne so we can finish it off tomorrow and I won't have to cook!

Foquita I wish my mom could knit! I'd have a list of 'must haves' the length of my arm! Atm I only have a cardigan the length of my arm! It's a double knit and I've run out of one of the balls of wool - that's what I get for not preparing!

Good news on the no af! I really hope this isn't the case for you but I experience spotting a few days before I'm due. It's usually just brown though so if yours is pinky that may be a good thing plus your dpo points to IB. Also, you haven't had spotting before so I'm taking that as a good sign! I just want to prepare you for the worst but I'm hoping for the best!

If you're a minger writing about your CM what does that make me?! I'm interested in your CM and uterus! I'm a minger moocher!

Mrs glad you're getting on to an even kilter. I used to dread the onset of my period before ttc but I never knew it could bring such utter misery.

Good luck with the open day. I think if you are diagnosed with unexplained fertility it's not necessarily a bad thing. It means that there is a chance that the delay has been for no good reason other than bad timing.

Hope work calms down for you, it's Wednesday tomorrow, downhill from there!

I really hope I don't balls the dress up but the chances that I won't are slim! I've already dropped a stitch and I've not long started! There's only so much bodging I can do before it looks holier than a priest!

Different is good. I have everything crossed for u. We need number 16 and u could be it. You aren't a minger. Sometimes u need to say what u see when u've been to the loo!

:haha: foquita :haha: I often think that about me. Talking about CM and CP and sometimes the odd BM  leave your dignity at the door when you start TTC'ing.

Mrs - like you, I dread the unexplained infertility but Leafy has a good point that with that it can always turn around. With unexplained I always think that you are not infertile it's just took longer than health professionals like it to take. I know plenty of people that suffer from unexplained infertility and had a baby. My aunt and uncle were unexplained and they have a boy now. :hugs:

Foquita GL! I must admit it sounds promising. I spot before :af: too and in my book blood = bad. But I hope that this is it for you :dust: well done on being brave! I am currently thinking of the best times to :sex: :-k I am approaching fertile times. FERTILE TIMES AHOY!!

Leafy - sausages for us tonight. :haha: last night we had pasta and OH took some to work  was delicious but unlucky for me I get to make all our meals and wash up after them! :haha:.

Tonight I want to try some sweet potato fries I have only ever roasted sweet potato and I like to try new things.. Today I am off to college I am studying the AAT, having some semi permanent lashes done for christmas (my sisters paying) and then coming home for tea and knitting fun  - busy day for me. I am also arranging a secret santa for another thread I am on.

AF arrived this morning, boo! at least it means I have a somewhat 'regular' cycle, I hope. I get to wait 6 weeks to ovulate now, woo hoo :dohh:
