Roll up, roll up! Statistical chance of at least one BFP! - *15th BFP Announced!*

:hi: everyone as I have mentioned I'm jaynie - this is my 13th cycle TTC (I started last November) but we have had one TTC fall out cycle (valentines last year), three where we haven't timed it (only :sex: on O day) and a couple of months after a MC (writing it like that helps me stay positive :haha:)

I had my very early MC in June - and last month was the first month we talked about TTC again and we again only manager :sex: on what I suspect was O day. :bfn:

This cycle my OH has proved quite interested and made all advances in that department so I have had potentially 3 x fertile :sex: but more likely 2 @ O -1 and O -2. I tracked O this month by temping and OPK'ing my OPK was +ive on Thursday and I had a temp dip yesterday and spike today... I will be testing early this month (I never test early, I have a very good feeling but I suspect rather naively) so I will be first testing on Monday 14th November (CD24) when I'll be 10DPO!

I am a massive believer in PMA it takes some people time including me and my OH. it's such a minefield! But it will be worth it. I know some really LTTTCers that have fallen pregnant on this forum!!

Hi Jaynie, lovely to have you on our thread :) Sounds like you've had a really rough time ttc and I admire your resilience. I've been trying for 20 cycles but haven't experienced any MC's so I can't imagine how hard it must have been for you to continue on with your journey.

I'm hoping you get some great news this cycle, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on the 14th!

There's some great support here, I don't think I could have kept sane without this site...and especially without the support of the girls on this thread so you're in safe hands :winkwink:

Keep us posted with how you're getting on x

I will do... Was this the month you didn't use any tablets except FA - that's what I started doing and the cycle I had my MC I wasn't really trying had sex only once allll month and bam! So the relaxing does work!

Yep, this is my breather cycle and I'm really hoping what you said is true for me this month. I've read lots of BFP announcements mention that they weren't trying the month they conceived. That said I read a lot of things, I try it and it has no effect on me whatsoever!

So apart from temping and opk's are you trying anything else this month?

sup girls!! whats new?? AF is almost over for me! ;)

I had some conceive plus that I bought the last time we were properly TTC in about January, so I slapped some of that on for the three :sex: before O!

GL to you - I'm the same but I have seen a few people on here take a while and still fall naturally. I think you'll be reet, I think it sounds like you have had a tough time TTC. MC was horrid at the time, but I know it can happen for us and that's something now I have to worry about not keeping one again! TTC is a right midfield...

:dust: :dust: :dust:

is it too late for me to join ladies?

we've been trying since april but I have long cycles (average 74 days :() so temping, charting etc can be really disheartening because nothing happens :haha:

we've just been making sure that we BD at least every second day, and we're just relaxing and enjoying it :D

babydust to everyone!

'Slapped it on' - Love it! I bet it was like a slip n slide for those sessions! I'm definitely getting some preseed, I can't really say I've tried until I've tried all the popular methods.

It's not too bad tbh, I'm quite good at compartmentalising anguish and stress! I save it all up and then erupt and feel so much better for it rather then dragging the stress out over a period of time. It's probably...no...definitely not healthy but it's my thing!

I never knew how common MC was until I started researching ttc, and they can occur for so many reasons it's ridiculous that any pregnancy is sustained really. If you can take one positive thing from your experiences it's knowing that you can conceive. I really hope you get a sticky bean on your next BFP.

Pola - I'm counting down with you! I can sense your DH bracing himself as I write! He's hidden the handcuffs, locked all your wine away and has prepared a safe place in the wardrobe to hide in. Fingers crossed he goes quietly when you drag him out! Hope you're ok hun x

Foquita - It's never too late! Those cycles are mighty long, have you been checked out by your GP over them? I can't remember the stipulated lengths of what is classed as a 'normal' cycle but yours certainly surpass them. Besides, that's a whole lot of BD'ing - both of you must be exhausted!

I'll add your details now (including yours Firstbaby25), welcome to the thread x

I did say to the GP last time I went but she was worse than useless, she just told me to use OPKs and BD plenty, as if I didn't know that! I'm not using OPKs ever, it would cost me a small fortune and it would stress me out so much! I temped last cycle and it was really not a nice experience :haha: I got so stressed out about it and put far too much emphasis on what my temps were doing!

I'll go back to the doctor in april, it'll have been a year then :)

I'm knackered but OH isn't, I still have to frequently knock him back :haha:

lol, I find this funny, as I had a heavy fight with Tigran. If he even tries to touch him, I will kick him in the groin. By this you should know he really messed up! ;)

Thanks for being so welcoming! :haha: TTC gets so romantic - slapping lube on and sending OH's for SA's (mine won't go because he knows his little men get to where they are supposed to despite it taking 6 months and 6 months have passed without one :()

Pola glad you are raring and ready to go. I think I met you on Fliss' journal before now :hi:.

:hi: foquita hope you are well Leafy is right - you probably would be able to see someone for your cycle but I have heard/known that people get pregnant with uber long cycles so GL in whatever you decide to do to get that sticky :baby:

Send us a link... I need to congratulate her

Anyone any inspiring days planned? I'm in the 2ww and we have no cash to do anything. I wanted to knit a new project but I needed supplies and have no money... :nope:

wow! You girls are an answer to my prayers. There was only leaf, pola and secret left and I thought "when those ladies get there BFPs i will leave BnB I don't want to write on any other thread". And over the weekend 2 new girlies to raise my spirits.

Secret!!! Con-grat-u-lations *sung Cliff Richard stylie* thrilled for you. Thanks for the position advice. I promptly told my husband who accused me of TMI but tried it anyway.

Pola: you go girl. I have a good feeling about this cycle. You deserve a BFP after last months shenanigans.

Leafy: preseed is the way forward. I much prefer it to concieve plus. Less sticky. I could only get it on amazon though.

Jaynie: Welcome. I think this last months teasing cycle was 28 days and day 1 was the spotting. i hope that yours start behaving themselves. I'm sorry to hear about your MC. Did you say you were going to a GP for onward referral? Memory of a goldfish me. Good to have someone who can use the sigs properly!!

Also welcome to foquita. Those cycles are crazy long. have you tried any vitamins?

AFM: Lets call this CD 14 (or CD16) CBFM says 'low' now. Interesting! I hope we did enough. Sods law that the weekend DH is off I have already ovulated! We are going to keep at it this week tho. So TWW for me. How quick was that!?

aww i love this thread already, everyone is so friendly!

firstbaby - i think i might move my deadline to go to the GP til after christmas then, at my surgery there is one really nice doctor so i think i'll be brave and go to her for advice! i absolutely hate going to the doctor and always feel like i get fobbed off.

i've been making christmas decorations, because i'm too skint to buy any better supplies. i made salt dough decorations and they came out lovely! i'll post a pic if you want :) and i made this - https://creativetryals.blogspot.com/2011/09/book-tree.html then spray painted it green and made a corrugated cardboard star. that kept me occupied for a wee while so there's my suggestion :D

mrsfx - i tried agnus castus, and it didn't make any noticeable difference although i did feel that it helped me in general to feel less moody, i really felt great on it so i'm going to keep taking it anyway :D

hope everyone is well today xxxx

I think we're similar too this cycle! I'm CD16 too :friend:. When are you testing? I won't be going to the GP for a while, I'm too young and we have time. I'm sure I'll be with my OH forever and so we can plan it for years ahead. He smokes and I do sometimes too, though I didnt when pregnant - obviously. So there are things we can do to improve our chances ourselves! I'm hoping we've covered our bases, does anyone chart? So you prefer Preseed to CP? I think I might use my CP up and then mix it up a bit :-k

Foquita - it is so cool making stuff but I recently lost my job and we have to be sooo money savvy. We'll be using last years decorations :) when I get a couple of quid I'll start my knitting project great thing about it is the price such a cheap hobby.

:dohh: Foquita meant to quote your post too. See above :haha: I triep EPO once and that regulates hormones (when TTC only take up to O) but I was better fir PMS. Might pick it up again if no success this cycle!

would it be ok for me not knowing when I ovulate?

I'm on my way to hobbycraft just now :happydance:

I guess not... I suspect the risks are minimal. You should probably just get some Internet cheapie OPK's and start quite late as I doubt your LP is the problem... Maybe start on CD50? you'd only have to do it once before you would reduce the amount you did plus an idea of O is good! I only did 3 this cycle.
