Roll up, roll up! Statistical chance of at least one BFP! - *15th BFP Announced!*

Foquita I love ur book trees I will make those too I think. I'm in a bookclub and it would make an excellent gift. U could do Internet cheap opks every other day for one cycle to see when u OV. When the line appears test daily. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001G7STT0/ref=redir_mdp_mobile
Have u tried soy. There r some bnb threads on that too

Yeah every other day is a top idea mrsfx  - foquita, just to give you an idea.

For all the book boffins. I've decided this weekend to go trashy and read the Twilight series again, as I own them - they're free. I'm also half way through Vanity Fair - having a 'classics' phase. Also mrsfx any book recommendations from your club would be greatly appreciated!!

Mrs, I know exactly what you mean. I think if it wasn't for you, Pola and Secret I would have naturally visited less often and it would have especially been the case when your BFP's were announced. Women tend to progress on to 1st tri or stop using the site. I flit around the site but always come back here to settle in! Such a creature of habit. So (short point made extremely long...as per my usual standards!) I'm also very glad we have some new playmates!

Focquita, I love the paper trees! I'm thinking about doing them as half trees for Christmas cards (folded flat when in envelope to be frilled out) also threading/sticking little beads as baubles! Oo getting quite excited about it now, my mind's going into overdrive! I did home made decorations last year for the cost also. Plus I didn't want the bog standard tinsel look. The salt dough sounds perfect! I might rope my nieces and nephew into helping me create some decorations - nothing like a little unpaid labour!

In reference to your prev post, I've been trying Royal Jelly and EPO and I would say my PMS was vastly reduced too so that's definitely a bonus.

Jaynie, I am the exact opposite when it comes to knitting. I have a basket full of wool, knitting and crochet needles and two half-baked projects but no inspiration! I love crafting and will hop from jewellery making to tailoring to knitting, baking, bag making but I'm very whimsical and have grand ideas that surpass my abilities! My funniest creation was a gorgeous vintage inspired dress I made last Christmas. It looked great but I couldn't breathe in it...breathing is not a priority I thought until I sat down and burst out of it from the backside! Trying to complete a pair of slippers atm..see how that goes!

I'm reading two books at the moment; the sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo; The Girl Who Played With Fire and A Lion Among Men, the prequel to Wicked and Son of a Witch. There's nothing like a good page turner and of course, keeps our minds active rather than dwelling on ttc!

Thanks for being so welcoming! :haha: TTC gets so romantic - slapping lube on and sending OH's for SA's (mine won't go because he knows his little men get to where they are supposed to despite it taking 6 months and 6 months have passed without one :()

Pola glad you are raring and ready to go. I think I met you on Fliss' journal before now :hi:.

:hi: foquita hope you are well Leafy is right - you probably would be able to see someone for your cycle but I have heard/known that people get pregnant with uber long cycles so GL in whatever you decide to do to get that sticky :baby:

lol!! yeeees!!! Now I stalk fliss´pregnancy journal!!!! :happydance:

Send us a link... I need to congratulate her

Anyone any inspiring days planned? I'm in the 2ww and we have no cash to do anything. I wanted to knit a new project but I needed supplies and have no money... :nope:

here´s the link!!! https://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-journals/778089-fliss-bubbles-journey.html

she´s 6 weeks already! :happydance:

wow! You girls are an answer to my prayers. There was only leaf, pola and secret left and I thought "when those ladies get there BFPs i will leave BnB I don't want to write on any other thread". And over the weekend 2 new girlies to raise my spirits.

Secret!!! Con-grat-u-lations *sung Cliff Richard stylie* thrilled for you. Thanks for the position advice. I promptly told my husband who accused me of TMI but tried it anyway.

Pola: you go girl. I have a good feeling about this cycle. You deserve a BFP after last months shenanigans.

Leafy: preseed is the way forward. I much prefer it to concieve plus. Less sticky. I could only get it on amazon though.

Jaynie: Welcome. I think this last months teasing cycle was 28 days and day 1 was the spotting. i hope that yours start behaving themselves. I'm sorry to hear about your MC. Did you say you were going to a GP for onward referral? Memory of a goldfish me. Good to have someone who can use the sigs properly!!

Also welcome to foquita. Those cycles are crazy long. have you tried any vitamins?

AFM: Lets call this CD 14 (or CD16) CBFM says 'low' now. Interesting! I hope we did enough. Sods law that the weekend DH is off I have already ovulated! We are going to keep at it this week tho. So TWW for me. How quick was that!?

thank you!!! I hope this is my lucky month too!! :happydance:

Book ideas ... 'The book thief' (best book ever). If u like a thriller 'sister' is great. Sifi 'the handmaid tale' (almost finished that). Next book club book is 'one moment one morning'

Great distraction. I'm currently knitting a patch work baby blanket. Just some squares to sew together. I'm hoping it won't be ridiculously big in the end!

It feels a bit like fate this thread - we all knit and are creative!

Leafy I have loads of odds and ends - I plan to use them, but I lost my cabling stuff and I want to knit a cable knit project bag... Anyone find they get asked for scarves all the time?

good luck jaynie. i hope you get those crosshairs and your body does the rest. i wont test until I'm late and I feel pg. I caved in and tested last month but just knew I wasn't.
I do like the idea of testing from 10 DPO, it would be so exciting to see a whisper of a line getting stronger but I daren't.

just printed myself off a salt dough recipe. Visiting friends next weekend and it would be a festive thing to do together.

Leafy: SA in T minus 3 days! I hope it goes well

Thanks I'm usually pessimistic but I've gone all out TTC this month so I'm going to get excited. I've been TTC long enough to know that it's probably going to be a :bfn:

Enjoy your salt dough making

Where in the Uk are you? What's your TTC story? How old are you if you don't mind me asking...

We do have quite a bit in common! Quite creative, silly senses of humour, neurotic... I think you'll fit in nicely!!

Oo congrats for tomorrow! You should post an image. I never got crosshares, but didn't temp properly so it'd be nice to see what they should look like!

I don't mind at all. It helps to remember who is who when u know some background. I'm 28. We live in Bedford. Been TTC since we got married in August 2010. Never had a BFP in that time. Tried everything at least once I think by now. Referred to specailist clinic in July. Saw them in August. Had my CD4 and 21 bloods and poor DH has had 2 SAs!! Won't get the results until December 19th. So 2 more cycles (including this one) until the big results and more tests day. :coffee:

Well I wish you all the very best :howdy: hopefully it'll happen before then for you :dust:. It just takes some of us longer :nope: :awww:

Great attitude to have. Sometimes im a glass half empty gal when it comes to my ttc so need a kick in the ass. I am thankful for the last year but would like to know if, when and how we will have our baby.

Mrs I can't wait for Oh to provide the sample! We're getting closer to a BFP. I mentioned to him about your idea of doing a recon and suddenly he's MI5! We've conjured up all types of fail safes in the event of the roads being blocked or some other catastrophic occurrence that would prevent him from getting the swimmers where they need to be! It's been a good laugh! Lets hope we're still smiling when the results come in!

How long did your Dh have to wait for his results Mrs?

I guess not... I suspect the risks are minimal. You should probably just get some Internet cheapie OPK's and start quite late as I doubt your LP is the problem... Maybe start on CD50? you'd only have to do it once before you would reduce the amount you did plus an idea of O is good! I only did 3 this cycle.

i think once AF comes i will give that a bash :D i am just worried that i become obsessed with it, last cycle i was just totally crazy for 56 days (that was my shortest cycle so far :happydance: 74 is just my average) and i couldn't handle it, hence the ditching charting for this cycle and just trying not to obsess. i am a natural obsesser and worrier :haha:

I think hobbeycraft is expensive  I look for Internet bargains!

it's so expensive, i was with my mum as she was getting wool for a cardigan she's knitting me for christmas and i ended up getting this book for christmas from my mum...

i made my first one with a magazine, for practise and it still looks great! i've got some books ready to deface for the sake of my christmas decorations so i will have loads of these wee trees sitting about in all different sizes :haha:

i have read a wee bit about soy so i will give that a bash :D

if you haven't read it i would recommend shadow of the wind by carlos ruiz zafon, and if you've never been to barcelona before you will be desperate to go after reading this book!

i was wondering about royal jelly...i already eat loads of honey so would it be a bit of overkill? or would it have even more benefits? i actually have a wee tub of EPO in my kitchen so i will have to start taking it...

and finally, here are some of my salt dough decorations i made last week. first batch and i am happy with them!
