Hi - we are coming up on 3 yrs of infertility (2 early miscarriages). I have 2 root canals both of which I'm planning on having extracted in a few months. I think there is a link to infertility and root canals...can any of you offer personal insight on this as far as your ltttc journeys?

I think any sort of dental problem/infection can signal the body that it isn't a "good time". I remember when I was pregnant with my son a few years ago, the dentist were very upset with me for not taking care of that before TTC, they felt it was unsafe when pregnant. so not so much that it affects fertility but any risk of infection in early conception is a slight risk for viability. I'm not sure if it impacts conception though. It seems natural though that any major dental issues were very dangerous before modern dentistry.
