OMG,,,,,he's finally here after 18 long hours of labour and thats only from when the contractions got really stronger..so in total it was over 24 hours.
Anyway started off Sunday 10th May was due to be induced that night,but i had irregular contractions that morning that were painful so we called my community midwife out and asked her to take a look.
She arrived and did internal was 2-3cm dilated but she did a sweep and stretch me to a good 3cm.
She left,bled lots and lots of plug.
Went for a walk later that day and was so bloody painful every contraction killed.
He was also back to back so in awkward position causing more major pain.
Got home,ate and had to go to hospital for check-up anyway to see if they wanted me in that evening..but nurse checked and said i was a good 4-5cm dilated at this point and was in pain.
She also did a very nasty,rough sweep and as soon as i got back into car contractions sped up and strengthened.
by time i was home we started TENS machine and birthing ball and was getting stressed out.
midwife arrived at 9pm that evening and she watched and monitered but then pains got worse so went onto gas and air,which i hated and it didn't hit the pain
then went for a bath and midwife swapped with some bloody t*at that i hated and she kept trying to take the gas&air off me
dad then had to rush the 20minute car journey to hospital to collect more gas&air as was going through a tank in 20minutes
Baby was becoming distressed after around 4 hours and so was i...was crying screaming and was still 4-5cm dilated and he just wasn't budging.
Got to hspital and the dicks just stared at me for 3 minutes before acting so i told them to get a move on and find me somewhere.
not in the nicest way LMAO.
Then i had an epidural as i just couldn't cope was exhausted,distressed and in pain..worked really well and was still able to move...was very very sick throughout whole labour.
They then broke my waters in early hours of morning...monitired me but contractions were not picking up anymore so was put onto drip.
Slept for about 4 hours as i kept just passing out in a sleepy way.
they were saying i should maybe have c-section as was so tired..so i made myself sleep.
These midwifes were lovely now thankgod.
but she woke me and did another internal and said
'oh god i can feel the head i guess we better ring your mum.do you want to feel.'
I then puked and no way was i going to do that LMAO
15 minutes later little Ryan was pushed into the world..pain fooking free
only grazes but 3 stitches inside as i had a deep graze.
Went home straight after i could walk straight again LMAO
but he's lovely and he's 8lbs 10oz
slight jaundice but perfectly healthy and a real booby boy!!
