Ryan had his first few spoonfuls of food this morning! I made up some baby rice just to see how he coped with swallowing and eating from a spoon and he loved it. 
I made up 10 spoonfuls just because that's how much it said on the pack and only intended to give him a spoon or two but he ate the lot without spitting any out, then licked the spoon and the bowl!
Not sure if that is too much for a first attempt? It was after a normal BF and he's just woken up from his nap now and had a feed as normal - the only difference it seems to have made is that he fell asleep really quickly and without a fight for the first time ever.
