I'm so sorry to hear your news. We had a different but fatal abnormality picked up at our 20 week scan with our last baby. We were told there was no chance he would survive so had a tfmr at 21 weeks, the hardest decision we have ever made and we were heartbroken to lose him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

We had been informed that there was fluid around the babys abdomen and to go in for a emergency scan with a specialist and we did and found out the baby has catastrophic problems. There are brain, heart and stomach defects and they are almost certain the baby has Trisomy 18. Very grim outlook. They said the baby will not survive. We are devastated and heart broken. We go for another specialist appt at one of the best hospitals in the area. But again they do not think the baby will live.
