I'm finishing the last couple of packs of size 1 nappies, then my LO will be in size 2. I'm so sad that she's not a tiny little newborn anymore. I want time to slow down. Why did it not go this fast when pregnant!

Haha I was the exact same. My OH thort I was crazy about getting upset over stuff like that, I've actually saved one newborn nappy and put it in his memory box so I can remember how small he was (sad ano haha).

I hate to say it but it doesn't get easier, I still get upset every time he outgrows something, they grow too fast. I totally agree that pregnancy seems to go so much slower than when there here.

I remember getting upset over this too, they just grow so quickly.

Good idea.. I'm gonna go and get one out of the pack now! X

we changed B to size 2s but i think her legs are still a wee bit small as she tends to leak more in them but size 1s are just a bit too tight. she needs a 1.5 haha. I had to bag up all her newborn and up to a month clothes as they dont fit her anymore. that made me a little sad but mostly cause she only wore some of them once or not at all and they were expensive. does that make me a terrible mother?!

I've got a box in her room now that I keep throwing clothes in that don't fit her anymore :-(
I'm the same, there's loads she hasn't had chance to wear. There's a gorgeous dress that was £45 which she has worn once! It's up to 10lbs so I'm gonna make sure she wears it this weekend before I throw that in the box too! X

I got sad too :(

Then I really cried when I realised I'd forgot to save one for her memory box and run out

Your baby sure has good taste in sleepsuits, lol.

Aw I felt the same too. It was when Macie got to about 6 weeks that I'd stopped 'mourning' the newborn stage and started to get excited about watching her grown and develop. I feel now, I love her soooooo much, I feel proud of every little thing she does, but looking back on newborn photos I sometimes wish I could rewind the clock just for one day. ❤️

I feel the same over her little jumpsuits and vests...they are like crop tops now but I still try one on her every few days 'in case the other one had just shrunk in the wash'.

I have kept her 'born in 2013' sleepsuit as i certainly wont have another baby born in 2013. i will keep it all just now but was thinking of making a few of her sleep suits into a wee stuff animal for her.

Maybe i shoild start enjoying the fact hes so small! He was in tiny baby clothes but today im excited as hes finaly fitting some 0-3 months. I wana dress him up lol

Hes still in number 1 nappies tho for now

lol my little chubs was never in size 1!!he is just over a month and got him weighed on tuesday is now 11lb12!!!!my breastmilk is certainly doing his job :)

i thought I was the only loon that kept a size 1 nappy!

I have a size 1 nappy in the twins' menory boxes. Mine are still pretty tiny though. They've only just gone into 6-9 month clothes at 1 year and still weigh less than 18lb! They're only in size 3 nappies!

I can beat you on sadness though, as my hubby loves to remind me, I cried when thrir cords fell off at 5 days as it was the first sign they were growing up  Those damn hormones making us embarrass ourselves

I honestly haven't been sad about any of it until today when I packed up all his 6 month clothes and last night when I sat him up and he stayed! It just hit me that my little baby isn't a little baby anymore.

I know what you mean :( Zayden after this pack of Size 2 Diapers will be in Size 3.. and i wonder how in the heck did this happen? waa im not ready for my little one to be getting bigger! and he is already in 6-9 month clothing :(

Aww, I felt the same when my oldest grew out of the newborn diapers! :( If it makes you feel any better, my youngest daughter (born at just shy of 9lb!) never really fit into NB diapers. Nope, went right to size 2, same with her clothes, right to 3M!

We have just moved up nappy sizes too from size 1 to size 2. She is almost out of her tiny baby clothes too. It goes so quick, I sympathise with you :flower:
