It's spring here, and my hayfever is ramping up big time. I have keratoconus (cone shaped corneas) and I'm not meant to rub at my eyes as it makes the corneas thin out even more. But my eyes are SO SO SO ITCHY argh!

What is safe during pregnancy? Even if I can't take an anti-histamine or a steroid nose spray for the hayfever, perhaps someone has a home remedy for soothing itchy eyes? I never had hayfever with my pregnancies last time.

Im ttc, googled and found that beconase nasal spray is safe, thats UK though. Im suffering bad and its just going in to winter here! When my eyes kick off Im using irritable eye drops.

Hope you sort it out soon my allergies make me so miserable.

Thanks! We do have that nose spray here, also another similar one called flixonase which I have always used but stopped as I wasn't sure if it was safe or not. I'll have to pop in to ask the GP.
