Scan at 7 weeks

Hi all

Just come back from having an early scan as we had IVF. There are 2 gest sacs 1 with fetal pole, yolk sac & heartbeat and the other with nothing in it but they are both the same size. Is there any chance it could still develop?

I'm not the best one to answer that question but congratulations on the BFP! I think that by 7 weeks they should be able to see both heartbeats, no matter what I hope you have a H&H pregnancy.

It will likely be a vanishing twin since they know the conception date for sure. It could still show up though. I refused any U/S until 8 weeks and by then both babies measured within a day of each other.
