Scan on my own

My next scans in Jan and just found out that OH cant come becuase work wont let anyone book holiday off in Jan (can they stop people booking time off?) so I have to go on my own. I have no family or friend here so its going to literally be on my own.
Anyone go on there own? Im scared that im going to be frowned upon even more then normal. Stupid threat but

I had to go to most of my scans on my own, and there were several other people there who were in the same situation. I don't see why anyone would think differently of someone who's their on their own.

I've been to all but my first 2 on my own as my OH is literally an entire world away from me. I never got looked at any differently though

I have gone to all my scans and appointments on my own. Well all except one. They never treated me any differently asked where OH was once but I just told them he was at work and there like yeah that happens all the time.

My boyfriend's job has been very understanding but sometimes just can't give him the day off because someone else has it off, etc. and he works for a small company that has a lot of business.. so I've gone to 2/4 ultrasounds by myself, and he's only come to 1 doctor's appointment so far.

MY boyfriend couldn't get a day off for one of my scans, my brother was meant to come but let me down on the morning of the scan. I sit in the waiting room and cried, it was horrible.. please find someone else to take with you, I don't think you should be alone.

No one treated me any differently but I got some odd looks and the staff seemed sympathetic.

I went to 2 out of 4 on my own to, didn't bother me, as a lot of the other ladies were on their own to.

i was under the impression (i may be wrong) tht its a legal requirement for your partner to be allowed time off for ante natal? not paid time off but time off?

because of the amount of scans and check ups i have had oh and his boss made an agreement tht he wouldnt go to all of them but the ones he did (4/10) he has been fully paid for

times i he hasnt come ive taken my mum or a friend xx

I have a 16 week scan on Tuesday and my Hubby said he may not be able to make it because he has training at work. Hes a police officer so he cant just drop everything. His sgt told me if he ever needs time off he can have it but this one is out of his hands because its work for a different department.
Im a little sad because we get to find out the sex and i wanted him there. Thankfully my mum is coming with me so i wont be totally alone.

I had a scan the other week to check baby was okay, went on my own and it was fine!

I went on one of my scvans alone.It really isn't bad nor does anyone look differently at you...In fact there were lots of women who were alone and we got talking.

It's sad that your OH can't make it,I'm sure he's equally crushed.

Also!! lots of women have to go on their lunch or take only an hour or two off from work when they work full time so go on their own bc it's too much trouble to meet up with their OH.. don't worry you'll be alright, just make sure you get a pic for OH!

I've been to one scan when I was by myself, my oh had to work, so I had to go alone. I was a bit upset about it before I went but it wasn't a problem in the end. Don't think anyone looked twice at me, its a busy department and there are heaps of woman there by themselves. I'm having to go by myself to an appt with my midwife at the hospital this afternoon - I'm not worried at all this time.

My OH's job has been VERY understanding when needing time off but with this being the busy time of year he is not able to get much time off from now until baby is born so I go to all my appointments alone. No one has ever looked at me differently because I was in there on my own, actually most of the women in the waiting room were there alone and all that ever slips in my mind is "wonder if their men are busy at work also"

Oh came 2 the intial appointment, when I was 5 weeks preggo and going to have it confirmed and wat not. Other than that he hasnt been able 2 cum 2 the first scan or midwife appointment. He is at uni 250 miles away but will be coming to 20 week scan as he will be on xmas hols yay. Its fine hun, didnt other me really, my Nan offered to cum to my 9 week scan, but I said No cos I felt i needed to do it wid OH or on my own. No one will even give u a 2nd look sweet xxxxxxx

I go to my scans with my mom and my best friend (who's a girl).
I might have my boyfriend (who's not the father) come. I don'tknow who i want to be there. Only one person can come with me in the room, and i want my mom to be there, but i want my friends to be there too
