I'm currently 9dpo, and had pain after ovulation so i had an ultrasound today.
I asked the sonographer if she thought I ovulated, she said "You won't get pregnant this month because you haven't ovulated, you have a cyst which has probably happened because the egg was never released, and your lining is too thin and it would be thicker"
So I was really sad, because my chart indicated ovulation has occurred and i've had some really nice temps.
I spoke to the consultant afterwards, and she said that the sonographer can't say I didn't ovulate because it could be a corpus luteum, or a random cyst that was already there anyway. She said my temps and regular cycle also suggest ovulation is occurring. She also suggested it could be an endometrioma cyst (I have endo).
Could the sonographer not tell the difference between a corpus luteum or a follicular cyst? I feel so gutted now I don't know what to think!
I had a good feeling about this cycle too...
