Scan today at 8 Weeks UPDATED WITH PIC!!!

Hi just wanted to tell someone as I am very nervous. Have a scan today and I am 8 weeks. My bean died at 7+4 last year (though m/c at 12w) so I am hoping it all goes well...... Its a strange mixture of excitrment to see my bean and nervousness that there will be a beating heart. Still if this morning sickness and tirdness its anything to go by I really hope it will be there!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay.
Well had the scan, and all went really well. Size was spot on as was the date (actually brought it forwrad 1 day). Most importantly I saw my bean! Could just about make out its head and belly and saw the heartbeat!!It looked like a Jelly baby/chess piece!!! So relieved and now cant wait for the 4 weeks till my 12 week scan!!

Congrats hun, I too went through an MMC so can imagine your nerves waiting for that scan after previous experience, I dread it. So so pleased it all went well for you, fantastic news and gives me great hope the next pregnancy will be well - thanks for post xx

i've just booked in for a private scan when i'm 8wks, as i too had a mmc (baby grew to 6wks, mc at 13wks)

i'm nervous, and am wishing the next 3wks away to see all is well x
